Simone Ashley Rocked a Sheer Dress for The Fashion Awards 2022

Summer may be long gone, but the sheer trend continues to have a hold over the fashion world. Simone Ashley is the latest to vouch for it being a year-round look with her latest red carpet appearance. 

For the British Fashion Council’s The Fashion Awards 2022, Simone Ashley tapped into some of the hottest trends of the year. Her 16Arlington gown combined the sheer and sparkly trends that dominated fashion in 2022. Simone covered in a light blue sheer fabric embellished with gems from head to toe — literally. Along with the floor-length gown, she wore a matching hood. It covered the back of her wet waves, with just a few strands peeking out from underneath to frame her face. Her sleeves also reached over her palms like fingerless gloves. A small leg slit at the skirt revealed her clear heels, a simple but eye-catching addition to the blue and silver look.

Despite the high neckline and gemstones, Ashley opted for more bling with a stacked diamond choker. But why stop there? Her glam brought even more shimmer to the look. Simone stunned with a silver smokey eye. Paired with a nude glossy lip and glowy highlight, the classic but timeless makeup was everything. For the final touch, she opted for a pearly white manicure, pulling the look all together.
