Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS Is Official Underwear Partner of NBA, WNBA, & USA Basketball
Kim Kardashian and her clothing brand SKIMS are on a roll. Just last week, Kardashian unveiled SKIMS’s first underwear launch for men as well as the new ultimate nipple bra with a side of environmental activism, but it looks like the business mogul isn’t slowing down just yet.
On October 30, 2023, Kim Kardashian and SKIMS announced they are rolling onto the basketball courts. This morning, the National Basketball Association (NBA) announced that SKIMS has been named the “Official Underwear Partner” of the NBA, Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA), and USA Basketball.
In a press release shared by the NBA, Kardashian says, “I am incredibly proud of SKIMS’s partnership with the NBA, as it is a reflection of SKIMS growing influence on culture. Together, SKIMS and the NBA will connect people of all backgrounds through fashion, sport, and talent, and I look forward to seeing the partnership thrive.”

On the other hand, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver also promised that “unique experiences, new offerings, and premium products” would come out of the collaboration. It was also shared that the partnership “will come to life” at marquee events such as the NBA All-Star and the NBA In-Season Tournament. SKIMS signs will also be displayed digitally on the court during games and through online promotions.
Fans of the brand should know this isn’t SKIMS’s first foray into sports. Prior, SKIMS designed the official undergarments, pajamas, and loungewear for Team USA at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021. And this isn’t the first time SKIMS has been connected to the NBA, either. For her first-ever men’s campaign, Kardashian cast NBA player Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to model the new line alongside other athletes.
