“Birdgerton” Stars Simone Ashley & Charithra Chandran Reunite At Dior’s Fashion Show
It was a reunion fit for royalty — and worthy of a Lady Whistledown write-up.
Bridgerton stars Simone Ashley and Charithra Chandran, had a blissful reunion this weekend at the extravaganza that was Dior’s pre-fall 2023 fashion show in Mumbai, India.
The on-screen sisters —who audiences fell in love with during the second season of Netflix’s Bridgerton — were pictured sitting next to each other during the fashion show, which celebrated Dior’s collection inspired by Indian designers and artists.

Charithra Chandran, our April 2022 cover star, who plays Edwina Sharma, the younger of the two “sisters,” posted an Instagram Story alongside Simone Ashley, Indian actress Karisma Kapoor, and British musician, Anoushka Shankar.
“Okay, let’s talk about this picture,” Charithra wrote on Instagram. “Firstly [Karisma Kapoor] ICON! Dil To Pagal Hai is one of my favourite films. I was fan girling so hard. Secondly, reunited with [my] BEAUTIFUL sister [Simone Ashley]. Thirdly, met a SOULMATE in [Anoushka Shankar].”
