Breakdancing Wristbands
Break dancing is also known as breaking or b-boying. It is mainly a street dance style that evolved as a part of the hip hop movement during the early 1970’s.This dance style is considered to be the oldest and best known of all hip hop dance styles. Break dance has lots of steps where the dancer may have to balance on one hand straining his wrist. Wristbands are highly recommended for break-dancers, as wristbands provide the needed support to the wrist, and also look very trendy. There are various kinds of wristbands that are specially designed for break-dancers.
Break-dancers often go for wristbands, which are made for weightlifters as they provide extra support to the wrist. These are called as wrist wraps and are cleverly designed, where in the cuff slips around the wrist. It is provided with a Velcro, which is supposed to be secured through the hook to provide a tight support to the wrist. Wrist wraps help in stiffening of the wrist area, which could help in avoiding injury.

Regular cotton wristbands are greatly preferred by dancers who perform on streets, as they are elasticized which provide greater comfort to the wrist, and also help in sweat control.
