You look at British footwear nowadays (sneaker culture, not in general) we have not seen many big strides this past decade-wise. “TST footwear” levels the playing field of expensive sneakers, and carries a prestige that other sneakers in it’s class do not have. Sishi says he always puts the design first on paper, drawn by hand. Using the design he comes up with the shoe. “TST footwear” is his own project entirely, a pure collection inspired by technology and tradition.
The company has not begun to flood the world yet so the Chinese have not seriously started bootlegging it yet. This is great because it tells us the collection is still pure and has not been raped and bootlegged by the market.
As for me I am going to go with the TST Leather Chukka Boot. I love it’s suede leather outside and over all slumped look. It reminds me of something out of an Anime cartoon every time I see them. If not, it’s the canvas split toe sneaker, which looks very much like the Chukka boot, except it’s canvas. These two are the greatest of the collection in my opinion.
