Lizzo’s Yitty Pet Me Collection Loungewear Review: Teen Vogue Tries
After years of dealing with uncomfortable shapewear, Lizzo decided to take matters into her own hands and launch Yitty. With size inclusivity at its core, Yitty has become a fan-favorite in just months. Plenty of stars and influencers have publicly vouched for its shapewear pieces, and now the brand is fully stepping into the loungewear space with the Pet Me collection.
Yitty’s Pet Me collection features “cute-meets-sexy” lounge silhouettes made functional by plush fabric that ensures superior movement. The pieces also flatter every figure, which, as mentioned above, is a foundational part of Lizzo’s brand. Pieces from the Pet Me collection include a onesie, a luxe lounge two-piece set with a bandeau and wide-leg pants, a maxi dress, and slippers. In true Lizzo fashion, the collection focuses heavily on comfort without compromising looks. (Cozy comfort first!)
If you had your eye out on one particular piece (or a couple!) and need help decyphering which one will work for you, we are here to solve your problem. Four Teen Vogue editors took some guesswork out of it for you by putting some of the key pieces from Yitty’s Pet Me collection to the test. Read on for our thoughts and favorite styles!

Whenever I’m looking for new clothes, I’m usually weary about the sizing because it can be so different depending on where you shop, especially if you’re plus size. Since I work remotely, I’m also a big fan of loungewear and can be a bit picky when it comes to clothes because I want to be cozy and comfy — it’s loungewear, after all. But when I tried on the Yitty’s Pet Me Heart Pocket onesie, I was pleased that it was true to size. For me, loungewear should be loose-fitting, and I didn’t feel restricted while wearing it. I usually steer clear of onesies because they remind me of the ones worn around the holiday season (I’m not really a big fan of bright patterns), but I loved the neutral Stardust color. The fabric is very soft, which is also an important factor for me, and the texture feels lightweight. My body runs hot, and typically, when I wear warmer clothing for too long, I start feeling uncomfortable and overheated. However, I spent my entire day WFH in this onesie and didn’t feel like I needed to take it off at any point. After trying it on, I honestly want to get one for my sister for Christmas this year just because it was so comfy, and I know she’d appreciate it. The heart-shaped back pockets also just add an extra ~flair~ that I absolutely loved!
