Megan Fox Hits Back at Republican Claims That She “Forces” Her Kids to Wear Dresses
Megan Fox and her ex Brian Austin Green are defending their parenting style after a former conservative political candidate claimed that Fox “forced” her kids to wear “girl clothes.”
Earlier this week, Robby Starbuck, who ran for Congress and lost, went viral for making outlandish allegations about Fox and her three young children — Noah, 10, Bodhi, 9, and Journey, 6. In his tweet, Starbuck alleged that he “used to live in the same gated community” as Fox and her three boys and claimed he “saw 2 of them have a full on breakdown saying they were forced by their mom to wear girls clothes.” He added that “It’s pure child abuse. Pray for them.”
Fox didn’t hesitate to defend herself and her kids after Starbuck’s tweet went viral, as she posted a lengthy response on Instagram to the failed Congressman’s claims.
“I really don’t want to give you this attention because clearly [you’re] a clout chaser but let me teach you something,” Fox wrote in a caption under a screenshot of Starbuck’s tweet. “Exploiting my child’s gender identity to gain attention in your political campaign has put you on the wrong side of the universe.”
She continued: “i have been burned at the stake by insecure narcissistic impotent little men like you many times and yet i’m still here… you f**ked with the wrong witch.”

While Fox is fairly private about her children and keeps them off of social media for the most part, she has been open in the past about her oldest child Noah’s choice to wear girls’ clothing. In an interview with Glamour last year, Fox said that Noah started wearing dresses when he was 2 years old.
“I bought a bunch of books that sort of addressed these things and addressed a full spectrum of what this is,” Fox said at the time of Noah’s choice. “Some of the books are written by transgender children. Some of the books are just about how you can be a boy and wear a dress; you can express yourself through your clothing however you want.”
Fox added that she made sure “nobody feels like they are weird or strange or different.” She also said she “can’t control the way other people react to my children.”
The actor’s ex and father of her three boys, Brian Austin Green, also defended Fox against Starbuck’s remarks, calling him “full of s**t.”
“It’s a totally bogus story,” Green told TMZ. “This person trying to claim this is true is a perfect example of someone with selfish motives that does not care about negatively affecting a parent child relationship.”
