I wonder if PPC’ing has lost its appeal, or have they all gone underground. There used to be a training facility in Arlington called Northwest Light Sport @ AWO.
Originally from the Tri-Cities area in Washington, the factory wound up in Southern Utah. In the mid to late teens, but was bought back again to Washington State by Caleb Bowman in 2022.
Seems like anything to do with Six Chuter in the social media world came to an inactive halt around April of 2022. Be the good Lord willing – should I ever be able to go back in the air again, I’d be thinking along the lines of a P3 Lite, a true ultralight powered parachute (PPC).
The best thing for me is there are no government requirements for ownership, operations or licensing.
For an old private pilot, it means no more mandated annual inspections and BFR’s; which means I can afford to fly.
