Selena Gomez Celebrated Her Birthday With Taylor Swift — See Photos

Selena Gomez celebrated her 30th birthday with the help of Taylor Swift. The eternal BFFs shared a snap of their birthday reunion, complete with smiles and funny poses.

The birthday girl shared proof of the BFF night on Instagram. “30, nerdy and worthy,” Selena wrote, sharing two photos from a possible birthday celebration. For the first photo, the pair are seated close to one another, with Selena wrapping her arm around Taylor. Taylor makes sure to mark the birthday occasion, creating a 3 and a 0 with her fingers.

In the second photo, Selena is covering a laugh with her hand and appears to be holding a wrapped present. Taylor looks to the camera, holding a thumbs up.

Naturally, the reunion has fans completely in their feelings. Taylena was trending on Twitter as of Saturday morning, and many were quick to acknowledge the duo’s longstanding friendship. Twitter fans shared old photos of the pair, calling it “best friend goals.” 

One fan called it the “best friendship there is,” while others pointed out that earlier in the day, Selena was spotted singing along to “22.” As this fan put it, “Selena and taylor’s friendship will forever be iconic.” 

As one fan pointed out, Taylor has had quite the week with friends. Before her appearance at Selena’s birthday, Taylor stepped in as the fourth Haim sister. Serving as a special guest at the trio’s London show, the star joined the group for a brief mashup of their hit songs.

Selena has previously spoken about her impactful friendship with Taylor. In a 2020 interview with the Wall Street Journal, she credited the duo’s connection to their past experiences, saying, “We both went through sh*t at the same time. She taught me a lot about how I should be treated at a young age.”
