What Are “Blueberry Milk” Nails?

Nail trends are moving quicker than we can keep up with, and this summer it’s all about “blueberry milk.” So what is it, exactly?

Well, the color is essentially just baby blue. But for some reason, the pale, Babrie-core, milky blue color has been rebranded into “blueberry milk” by the internet. The color has popped up everywhere and has been worn by someone of the biggest celebrities. So obviously, it means we’ll be seeing more people choosing this color at the nail salon. 

Dua Lipa showed off her light blue nails last month in a photo shared on Instagram. The singer was wearing pieces from her collection with Versace — “I’ll be living in this blue chrome two piece until further notice,” she wrote in the caption. But fans took notice of her nails in the photo.

This year’s social media It Girl, Sofia Richie Grainge, was also ahead of the trend — posting her robin egg blue nails in a snap on Instagram. The model wore a simple but elegant white dress, paired with a chunky brown belt, and slouchy bag. If Sofia is doing the blueberry milk nails, then everyone must be doing it.
