Zendaya Serves 2013 Louis Vuitton by Marc Jacobs at ‘Challengers’

Ladies and gentlemen of the (tennis) court, it’s a serve, your honor. Styled in another stunning confection from the genius mind of one Law Roach, Zendaya hit the Challengers photocall in Paris in a tea-length checkerboard overcoat, pulled from the Louis Vuitton archives. Spring/Summer 2013, when Marc Jacobs helmed the storied fashion house, to be exact.

It’s layers on layers of meaning, the checkerboard pattern speaks to another game of mental prowess, chess, that is, so we officially know the game is on as Z hits the Parisian streets in her first look of the press tour. And while models originally strutted the catwalk back in 2013 with green flats that fit the era, Zendaya has updated the look with a chic white pump.

Leaning into the 60s mod vibe of it all, Zendaya wore her hair upswept, held back by a white headband with a dainty bow. It’s giving coquette, but make it high fashion.

Co-stars Mike Faist and Josh O’Connor along with director Luca Guadagnino joined her at the Challengers photocall, held at Maison De L’Amerique Latine on on Saturday in Paris, France.
