Good news: Amazon Prime Day is coming back for round two! So if you missed out on the retailer’s summer sale in July, you’ve now got a second chance to score some of the best Prime Day deals of 2022. 

However, there are a few changes to take note of for the new sale. The two-day shopping event, a.k.a “Prime Early Access Sale,” will only be accessible to Prime members come Tuesday, October 11, through Wednesday, October 12th. So if you’re not a Prime Student member yet, make sure to sign up ahead of time to shop the sale. New student members will get a free six-month trial and can then enjoy their prime membership for just $8 a month after the trial ends. 

And if you’re wondering if the membership is worth it – it sure is! Students also get six months free of Linkedin Premium, free food delivery, one-month free homework help (thanks to Course Hero), and can save 10% off various flights and hotels. Those who are not eligible for the student membership can sign up for a free 30-day-trial to join in on all the fun.

The shopping event will also be geared toward holiday deals, so customers can expect to score big discounts on items across all categories, including beauty, fashion, electronics, dorm decor, and more! Amazon is also introducing a new Top 100 list, which will feature a selection of deals on this year’s most giftable items from brands like Murad, Caudalie, Samsung, Lego, and KitchenAid.
