5 Best New Songs This Week: Taylor Swift, Swarm Soundtrack, Tori Kelly & More
Swarm is all the buzz right now. As a companion to his new satirical drama, Donald Glover (aka Childish Gambino) has released a 6-track EP that serves as the show’s original soundtrack, with original music inspired by the series. SWARM the EP features music from the show’s fictional artist Ni’jah, who is inspired by Beyoncé and is actually voiced by Grammy award-winning artist Kirby.
“KIRBY has such a versatile sound and songwriting ability; she was able to elevate and amplify every moment she was a part of,” Donald Glover said in a statement. “It’s been a pleasure to collaborate, to bring this story to life sonically and I couldn’t imagine what this would sound like without her involvement.” Swarm, starring Dominique Fishback, Chlöe Bailey, Damson Idris, Paris Jackson, and Billie Eilish, is now streaming on Prime Video.
