Make Up Your Mind Like A Good Bed
Decisiveness is power in whatever you decide to do, and there will seem to be many more failures than successes in the ultimate success achievement process of succeeding. Recently, I read a book by a lady named Gull Khan on money and investing, very basic, very logical. As long as you have the mindset to invest and advance whatever the obstacles with patience, understanding and tolerance, you will ultimately be successful, but if you depend on luck and quit after the first setback in fear of losing it all, that is genuine failure.
Indeed, I may not exactly be an expert on this subject or even do too much of this: I can say this honestly though, when considering genuine success and failure, the ultimate commodity and assurance of good futures is a mindset with the patience, understanding and tolerance not to depend on luck, especially “permanent good luck” or fearing temporary bad luck.
Also, I consider the first item in P.U.T. the ultimate skill first anyhow. Why do you think I put it first in the patience, understanding and tolerance triangle? Not just to say the letters P.U.T. in that order, because the patience to deal with it all should be included in the reality of total genuine success. Permanent loss is because of a lack of the above qualities, not any real physical setbacks. Oh, they can seem like a factor, but face it, it is mostly mindset and understanding the rhythms of reality that do count for it all.
As hockey great Wayne Douglas Gretsky once said: “I am not too much of a gambler, but you miss one-hundred percent of the shots you do not take.” That is what I understand, there is always success, failure, opportunity and missed opportunity, but decisiveness is King, Queen and all when it comes to doing what needs and wants (in that order) to be done.
So, make the bed, make a decision to ultimately succeed even through the temporary trials and tribulations. I made that decision a long time ago for myself, to work with the rhythms of life to ultimately succeed instead of depending on luck. The full understanding of life and how opportunity works genuinely gets it for you and not just brings it to you, because you are genuinely in line with reality however many times you seem to fail and how many ways you find not to do the effort. Reality does come down to our primary mindset, just like we have to get out of the bed and make it, or leave the bed a mess. Get good, and all else will follow realistically.
