Happy birthday, Keke Palmer! The actor and musician just rang in her 31st birthday wearing a gorgeous yellow dress that looked extremely familiar to any Y2K rom-com fan.

Palmer shared a handful of cute snapshots from her celebration with friends and family, including a pic with her sisters and a truly adorable mommy-and-me portrait with her son Leodis. But it was her dress we couldn’t stop staring at, given that it was a faithful recreation of the iconic yellow satin bias-cut gown Kate Hudson wears in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days—a dress that has enchanted movie fans and fashion fans alike for 20 years. Palmer’s dress looked almost exactly like Hudson’s in the movie, with a slinky silhouette, a low-cut back with criss-crossing straps, and a long length with a subtle train. Stunning is really the only word for it.

Palmer paired her yellow birthday dress with sparkly drop earrings and layered necklaces, plus a Van Cleef & Arpels bracelet, and wore her hair in a perfectly undone twist. On her eyes, Palmer opted for a soft smoky shadow and cat eye combo. Celeb pals like Halle Bailey, Saweetie, Issa Rae, and Teyana Taylor all hopped into the comments to leave their best wishes for the noted Virgo birthday queen.

The star was absolutely radiating with love and joy on her big day—her glow was even brighter than the satin shine of her dress. “I’m not here for a long time but I am here for a community-rich time and that’s what I have. It’s my birthday but it’s my communities birthday too because they are the ones that got me this far,” Palmer wrote of the occasion. “We are all alone in this world, we come in alone and we go out alone but what we share is this experience … In that love, that hope and that joy. I am forever grateful to know that and to have that.”
