Bad Bunny Tasks Journalism Students With Helping to Promote His New Album

“An unexpected call, less than a week ago, gave way to an unforgettable experience for my students and I,” David Cordero Mercado, who is a professor at UPR’s communications school, wrote on Facebook.

Mercado added that the students worked on the publication “in record time,” and had “multiple meetings, calls and messages to achieve a memorable edition.” On top of being able to create the special publication, Mercado and his students attended a listening party at the Coliseum of Puerto Rico, along with 18,000 others.

Bad Bunny’s continued success is no surprise after his 2022 album, Un Verano Sin Ti, was a critical and commercial feat. The album was nominated for Album of the Year at the 65th annual Grammys. In total, Bad Bunny has been nominated for nine Grammys, winning three.
