Dua Lipa and Boyfriend Romain Gavras Make Red Carpet Debut at Cannes

Dua Lipa is “Levitating”… in love. 

The pop star went red carpet official with her new beau Romain Gavras in the South of France on Friday night at the very glamorous Cannes Film Festival — and the photos ooze chemistry. 

Not only did Lipa debut her new man, but she also showed off her chic new bangs. Lipa, 27, and Gavras, 41, looked like Hollywood royalty as they attended the premiere of Omar La Fraise (The King of Algiers). The new couple seemed enamored with one another — holding hands, laughing, and gazing into each other’s eyes. 

Lipa was wearing a long black cut-out gown from Celine, with a classic updo to show off her curtain bangs. Gavras wore a sleek tuxedo. 

The singer was first linked to the French director in February, as rumors swirled about the pair dating. Lipa and Gavras were spotted in London together, and later in Paris holding hands. 

Gavras is known for his directorial work on music videos and commercial shoots with major artists including M.I.A. and Miley Cyrus, along with brands like Louis Vuitton and Dior. He has also had critically acclaimed films premiere at major film festivals. 

After Lipa split from longtime boyfriend Anwar Hadid in 2021, the singer has been romantically linked to Trevor Noah and Jack Harlow. But for the most part, she has been enjoying single life up until this year.
