Harry Styles Posted (& Deleted) a Selfie Wearing a One Direction Shirt — See Photo

This is not a drill! Just like me, Harry Styles still has (and wears) some of his One Direction merch. The musician posted a gym selfie in an Up All Night 2012 tour tee to his Instagram Stories, then quickly deleted it — but not fast enough that fans couldn’t screenshot the truly historic moment.

In the snap, Harry is sporting the multicolored tee, which features each band member’s adorable young face in a different color. (He’s aqua, as is Niall HoranLiam Payne and Louis Tomlinson are pink, and Zayn Malik is purple, as is the 1D logo in the corner.)

Harry was obviously hitting the gym and not the red carpet, but even his workout looks are stylish. He paired the throwback tee with sunny orange Hoka sneakers, white socks, and black shorts for his gym session.

Harry has spoken fondly of his 1D days many times before. In June, he told The Spout podcast that he wasn’t opposed to a reunion with the rest of the lads. “I don’t know. I mean, I think the thought of it is really nice,” he said at the time. “I think we all went through something really special together, and there’s a lot of love there. So yeah, I think if there’s a moment for us to do it in the right way, I think it’d be great.” (Niall has said it would be “absolutely ridiculous” if they didn’t reunite at some point.) Even Zayn, who has historically shied away from anything 1D-related, lit up the Internet when he revisited that high note in “You & 1” on Instagram.

While most of the band members do acknowledge their roots as one of the greatest boy bands of all time, they definitely don’t wear the merch — until now. The 2012 tee isn’t exactly vintage, but it’s fun to see Harry revisiting such an important chapter in his life and career, not to mention a super relatable gym ‘fit. (Pretty sure I wear the same thing for my at-home workouts.)
