New on Netflix January 2023: Top Gun, Ginny & Georgia Season 2, and More
Happy New Year! Out with the old, and in with all that’s new on Netflix in January 2023. There’s so much new, returning, and original content coming to the streamer this month, it’ll give you even more reason to celebrate. *Cue party horns!*

January ‘23 gifts us with the return of throwback classics like Grease, Top Gun, and the entire Rocky franchise. Season 2 of the Japanese reality series Old Enough! also arrives early in the month. (We ranked Old Enough! as one of the best Netflix shows of 2022. More on that here.)
There’s also new original movies like the Jonah Hill and Lauren London-led rom-com You People, shows like the highly anticipated reboot of That ’70s Show, aptly titled That ’90s Show, British spy thriller Lockwood & Co., and of course, Ginny & Georgia Season 2.
There’s so many secrets to unpack in the second season of the mother-daughter small-town drama. Per Netflix, the official synopsis of Ginny and Georgia’s second chapter reads as follows: “How do you live with the knowledge that your mother is a murderer? That’s what Ginny is going to have to figure out. Burdened with the new understanding that Kenny — her step-dad — didn’t die of natural causes, now Ginny must deal with the fact that Georgia not only killed, she killed to protect Ginny. Georgia on the other hand would much prefer that the past be left in the past, after all, she’s got a wedding to plan!
