Watch Harry Styles React to Fans Throwing Cold Chicken Nuggets At Him During NYC Show

If you’ve ever been to a Harry Styles concert — or any concert, for that matter — you’ll know that oftentimes fans will throw things on stage to their favorite artists. In Harry’s case, the items thrown on stage are usually things fans hope Harry will interact with: a knitted hat, a feather boa, a tiara. On August 27, something unique went airborne, causing Harry to stop his concert in New York City to question his fans. “Who threw the chicken nugget?”

Harry was playing at Madison Square Garden, the fifth tour show out of his 15-night residency at the iconic NYC venue. In a video posted by TikTok user @barcelonahair and reposted on Twitter by Buzzfeed’s Lauren Garafano, Harry is seen waving around a chicken nugget that was thrown onstage by a fan.

“Very interesting approach,” said Harry. A second later, Harry looks down and sees a second nugget at his feet. “There’s another chicken nugget!” The crowd began to egg him on, chanting for him to eat the pair of nuggets — but Harry is a vegetarian.

“I don’t eat meat,” he said before throwing one of the nuggets back into the crowd. Harry then picked up the second nugget, clearly trying to unpack the entire situation. “First of all… this is cold, and I’m assuming very old,” he said, visibly holding back laughter.

“Would you like it back?” Harry asked, half-joking. “You want it back? Why?!” Despite his own reservations, he threw the second nugget back into the crowd, but with a few orders. “Don’t eat it! You don’t know what’s on the floor… don’t go looking for it! We’ll get you another nugget, okay? Fear not.”

Harry is known for his interaction with fans during his shows, and has in the past done everything from help fans come out to assist with marriage proposals. On the first night of his Madison Square Garden residency in NYC, Harry called a fan’s ex after she held up a sign seeking his advice.
