“Wicked” Stars Ariana Grande & Cynthia Erivo Have a Night Out at SZA’s Concert
It looks like Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo took a break from their witch duties to spend a night out together.
The Wicked stars were spotted dancing and singing along during a SZA concert at O2 Arena in London over the weekend with friends. Grande was back to sporting her classic signature ponytail, which is still blonde as she continues her role as Glinda the Good Witch.
Friend and casting director Ryan Bernard Tymensky posted photos from the concert of him and Grande hugging. The pop star had on a casual white long-sleeve t-shirt, while Orivo was shown in a black t-shirt, dangling earrings, and pearls. Grande posted a video of the concert on her Instagram Story with the caption, “such a brilliant show @sza love you.”

Erivo and Grande have been filming the highly-anticipated on-screen adaption of Wicked in London. The Broadway musical will be two separate movies both directed by Jon M. Chu. The first installment is set to hit theaters on November 27, 2024, and the second in 2025.
Erivo is playing the main character Elphaba — or the Wicked Witch of the West — while Grande plays Glinda. Grande posted on Instagram in April that the production was “halfway” complete.
The films will also star Jeff Goldblum, Michelle Yeoh, Jonathan Bailey, Bowen Yang, and more.
