Become the Hangman or the Hanged in the Hangman Game
Learn to pass your idle time doing something fun like playing the Hangman game. This is a game played by guessing the letters in a word, with every wrong guess drawing the player closer to being hanged. Maybe you do not know how to play this game. You need not fret; it is one of the easiest games you will ever come across.
You need to gather a few materials to begin playing. These include stationery such as a writing tool like a pen, and a writing surface. You also need to find a playing partner. Of course if you opt for the online version, you do not necessarily have to look for another player.
You start playing by creating a hangman’s noose. This is a drawing on the paper consisting of a three-inch long vertical line and a two-inch long horizontal line connected to the vertical one at the top. It is in the shape of an inverted “L”. To make the “stand” for the “noose”, you draw a horizontal line, about five inches long, at the bottom. It is parallel to the top horizontal line, but cuts across the vertical one.
The next step is deciding who plays the guessing game first. If you are the one to go first, think of a word. Draw dashes or short horizontal lines that are each about a half-inch to represent each letter of the word you have selected. If the word is monkey, you draw six dashes for each letter.
The other player must then make a guess of the word you have in mind. You ask them for the word or a letter in the word. For each correct guess they make, you fill it in the rightful position on the dashes. However, the first wrong guess should have you drawing a human head on the noose.
You can draw a simple circle to represent the chest on the subsequent incorrect guess. You then progressively draw the arms and legs, which can be represented by straight lines. You can even prolong the game by filling in details like the eyes, mouth and nose. Your partner should guess the correct word before you are done with the drawing.
The game ends when you complete drawing the body before your partner makes a right guess. The notion is that your partner has been “hung”. A correct guess of your secret word or sentence definitely means a win for your partner. The online version of Hangman game uses tiles, with letters being allocated numerical values.
