The M in MCU doesn’t stand for Marvel anymore — it stands for Megan. Yup, thee Megan. In a new cover story interview for The Cut, rapper Megan Thee Stallion confirmed that she is officially joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

According to The Cut, Megan was cast in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Marvel’s latest Disney+ TV series. The superhero legal drama follows Jennifer Walters (played by Tatiana Maslany), an attorney specializing in superhuman-oriented cases, who must navigate her complicated personal and professional life as she becomes the green superpowered She-Hulk. (ICYMI: Jennifer is the cousin of Bruce Banner, aka the OG Hulk.)

She-Hulk premiered on Disney+ in mid-August 2022, and has released episodes weekly on Thursdays. The first season of the show is slated to conclude on October 13. While speaking to Deadline, actor Josh Segarra, who plays attorney Augustus “Pug” Pugliese on the show, hinted at the storyline Megan will be involved in.

“A gentleman is being catfished by somebody that lives in another universe, let’s say. Another world,” said Segarra, confirming to Deadline that the catfish is posing as a certain recording artist… wink wink. “So he thinks he’s dating one person, and he’s not, so we need to help him figure that out.”

The Hot Girl is a proud anime, comics, and TV fan, so her casting in the new Marvel series is definitely right up her alley. “How people were screaming when steve picked up mjölnir in endgame is how i will act when megan thee stallion shows up in she-hulk,” wrote one fan on Twitter. Same, TBH.

Now, Megan Thee Stallion’s guest spot on She-Hulk has finally made it out into the world. The rapper appears in the series’ third episode in a dual role — a shape-shifting elf uses her appearance to catfish She-Hulk’s colleague — later appearing as herself during a court scene and a mid-credits scene. In the credits scene, Megan and She-Hulk twerk in the law offices to Megan’s smash-hit “Body.” “You are way more fun than my last lawyer,” Megan says to She-Hulk.

“I will kill for you, Megan Thee Stallion,” replies She-Hulk.

“Dial it back,” Megan says with great comedic timing. While speaking to Shadow and Act, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law head writer Jessica Gao called Megan’s casting on the show “a dream come true.”

“When we wrote the episode, we knew that we needed to have a very famous, successful, and beautiful female celebrity,” said Gao. “…We went through a lot of possibilities, but Jameela [Jamil, who plays Titania on the show] was the one who actually brought up Megan. When she brought it up, I mean, we just all collectively lost our minds.”

Series star Tatiana Maslany also gushed to the outlet about being a Megan stan IRL. “I’ve been such a fan of Megan. I’ve seen her in concert so many times and I’ve like watched all of her videos,” Tatiana said. “I think she’s so funny and she’s so smart. I love her. I love her music. So to get to do this — I was shaking. I was so nervous. And then you know, ‘Body’ starts playing and I’m like, ‘OK, I’m in a music video… like dancing with my idol. Like it was just a dream.”
